Prevention and reduction of burden of communicable and non-communicable diseases (including mental illness) and injuries

Activities

Annual Conference

Annual Conference is the one of flagship activities under the aegis of IAPSM. Since year 1974 every year National Conference is held in different part of Country, which was attended by its members in professionals who are interested in the field of Community Medicine/ Preventive & Social Medicine/ Public health or it allied speciality.

It is an academic feast where many oral and poster research papers are presented. Also various seminars, panel discussion are organized to disseminate the newer information in specific theme or sum theme in topic related with Community Health & Health Care. Members discuss and deliberate various issues. Budding specialists in the discipline come to know about recent and important happenings in the field while deliberations from the conference arte guiding to the various stakeholders who are working in specific areas of the Community Medicine.

Till date 50 National Conference was held and 51st National Conference of Indian Association of Preventive & Social Medicine (IAPSM) is going to be held at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, Karnataka on 08, 09 & 10th February 2024.
