To submit a blog post, kindly follow the steps outlined below:
- Content Guidelines:
Your blog post should be original and not previously published elsewhere.
The recommended word count for blog posts is 300 to 1000 words (Including References).
- Formatting:
Write your blog post in Microsoft Word or any compatible word processing software.
Use clear headings and subheadings to organize your content.
Keep paragraphs concise and ensure proper formatting for readability.
- Author Information:
Begin your document by stating your full name and affiliation. This information should be placed at the beginning of your blog post.
Along with author details mention – ‘Category’ under which the Blog is submitted (find the list of ‘Categories’ on the webpage)
- Images and References:
If you include images, ensure they are relevant, high-quality, and properly credited (if applicable).
Maximum 2 images/ tables can be submitted per blog.
One non-copyrighted image as the cover page/ banner is mandatory.
For any statistics, quotes, or information that is not common knowledge, provide appropriate references and citations within the text.
- Review and Proofreading:
Carefully review your blog post for grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, and clarity before submission.
- Submission:
Save your blog post as a Word document with a file name that includes your name and the blog post title (e.g., “AnandSingh_COVIDPreventionStrategies.docx”).
Email your submission to blog@iapsm.org with the subject line “IAPSM Blog Submission – [Your Name]”.
In the body of the email, provide a brief summary or overview of your blog post.
- Approval and Publication:
Once submitted, your blog post will be reviewed by the IAPSM editorial team.
If any revisions are required, you will be contacted via email with feedback and suggestions.
Upon approval, your blog post will be scheduled for publication, and you will be notified of the publishing date.
