So this is not a story I am telling ,but this is an experience that I gained a few days back in my apartment , when \u00a0one of my neighbour approached me at 8\u20190 clock in the morning with tears in her eyes and grief on her face. I asked nothing but accompanied her to , where her mother-in-law , a\u00a0 seventy years \u00a0old female and suffering from terminal illness , on chemotherapy was lying in bed with eyes uprolled , and cold and clamy skin with \u00a0no response to command. I measured \u00a0her blood pressure ,took \u00a0RBS \u00a0reading which was within normal limits History taking revealed that she had loose stools a day before,I immediately asked my neighbour to prepare ORS .We administered her some sips of ORS by Katori and spoon,\u00a0 she drank almost half Katori and within few minutes her eyes became normal and she started responding to \u00a0commands. Thereafter nebulization was done in view of chest congestion following which her SPO2 <\/sub>improved and immediately she was referred to a tertiary care centre for further management.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n That is how one life was saved just by following the core steps of emergency care, i.e Airway, Breathing and Circulation .This incidence definitely motivated me to do better\u00a0 not only in academics but \u00a0in \u00a0clinical part also.
